I want to thank all of your for your insight and help. I have also been looking at doing a custom build on ibuypower.com. But even with choosing custom parts I am only saving around $100-150 by going custom. At the end of the day I will most likely choose the second pc unless I find something better

So If I bought the second pc would it run very smooth and fast and play most games on high/very high settings?

Well I understand how making your own is cheaper. I just don't want to end up breaking anything or putting it together wrong. How would the second pc do on newer games like Arma 2?

I'm not that hardcore of a pc gamer. I usually play older games like Red orchestra, or counter strike source. I just want a computer that will easily handle the games I play at max settings and if I want to pop in a newer game it will run fine.

What do you guys think of the two computers I was looking at?

I thought about that but I don't want to mess up a build. I would rather just get a premade one.

Hello. I have recently decided that I want to buy a good gaming PC for around $1000 or a little less. I have found two PCs that are in my price range and seem to have good graphics cards and other equipment for the price. I don't need a PC with beefed up everything. I would like a pc that can run most new games at high or very high settings. Crysis, Arma 2 etc. But mostly I will be playing older games, All of the valve source games and games like Stalker and Arma 1. Here are the pcs I have been looking at:

As far as graphics cards go I thought the ATI 4870 would run most games at high. But what about the Nvidia GeForce GTX 275? It seems like a better card.

Please let me know what you guys think about the PCs I listed. If you think there is something better for the price or those are bad PCs let me know.

I'm having this problem also now aswell. I tried increasing my mtu and that didn't do anything. This problem started when I went to dl the lost and damed and the download would freeze and I would have to restart and delete it over and over and I finally downloaded it after 2 hours
