Okay, that'll work then, since I'm only sharing my account details with my father and we're in the same house so nothing wrong about sharing the game between family (since we would just share the disc if we bought the game physically anyway).

Thanks.

So, for example, if I were to buy a game on my PS3 using my PSN account, then go to my father's PS3, log him out and log myself in, download that game from the PSN again, and then log myself out and my father back in... would that work?

I read the other day that when you buy a game on the PSN, you buy 3 "licenses" for that game so you can legally put it on 3 different PS3's or PSP's after purchasing the game. Is this true and, if so, how would one accomplish this goal?

Yeah, mine seems okay too, and since I don't plan on making a habit of it I think I'm okay, just a bit OCD about that $250 piece of equipment sitting on my shelf. Thanks.

And I did use the reset button so no worries there either. Thank you.

So I was in the middle of browsing the web with two windows open the browser started to act funny. I then tried to close the window that had caused the problem only to find that my PlayStation had froze. I'm still getting used to my PS3 so I wasn't sure what to do and I held the power button until it turned off. When I rebooted the PS3 I was given a message that the console was improperly shut down and that doing so could cause damage to the system or corrupt data. What are the chances that I damaged the system when I did this? What kind of damage could I have caused?

Thanks

Well I guess ill order it off line then. Warranty is no big deal as I think that using Turtle Wax Scratche Remover did that a long time ago.

The thing is is that I'm 14 and would have to go through my parents no matter how I order it. I would like to just walk to local store and do this myself.

So, I got a PSP 3000 a few months ago and I ended up scratching the screen really badly. Long story short, I tried every home fix for a scratched screen I could find and made it even worse. I recently found that you can buy faceplates for PSP's and that will, if sucessfully changed, put the screen good as new. I have yet to find if any retail stores sell these faceplates. Can you buy a faceplate for a PSP at a Gamestop or a Best Buy or something like that? I would buy from online but since I don't have a credit card that would be kind of hard.

So, now that Sony is shifting to digital download for their games (and I would assume phasing out UMDs) I guess I need to learn how to use the Playstation Store. So, I was wondering, how do you pay for games from the PS store? Are there prepaid cards (like Wii points), or do they bill your credit card, or do they send a bill to your house? I have never seen prepaid cards but there should be a way to pay for games with cash.

Thanks

Cool, thanks. I was hoping so because GT was one of the reasons I wanted a PSP so badly. Plus I don't really have any need for the Go because it has no new features other than a sliding design and a smaller screen (the flash memory doesn't count because I can buy a MemoryStick that will give my 3000 just as much memory as the Go).
