[QUOTE="G013M"]Having 12 gigs of ram won't help you in 32bit applications (aside from if you're running a lot of them), as they're still subject to 32 bit memory limitations. I believe the limit under Vista 64bit is 3 gig for 32 bit programs?Gog

That is correct. By default only 2 GB is available for 32-bit programs in 32-bit windows and 3 GB in 64-bit windows.

is there a way to change that (like change rollercoaster tycoon 3 and up its limitations?)

Download the program ntune you can also overclock your cpu from it however I strongly advise you don't since its much better to overclock it from bios.

There's no "quick" way to OC'ing a CPU. Your best bet would be to search for a few guides using google.com or whatever search engine you like. As for OC'ing - OC'ing a GPU really doesn't give much benefit. You're better off OC'ing your CPU. If you're lucky and you can push your GPU hard enough and your CPU isn't bottlenecking your GPU, you might get a whole whopping 1-3% (if you're lucky enough, maybe even up to a 5%) increase in performance. First OC your CPU, once you get that going, then worry about trying to OC your GPU and see if it helps you out at all with your games/benchmarks. With my computer, I see no benefit at all pushing my two 8800GTS 512MB cards well past their stock speeds. My benefit in performance increase comes from taking my CPU up .35GHz.

so is there a particular easy way to OC my videocard? if so, how do i do it?

*12888mb Looks like it's all there, whats the problem? Also, what is the exact model of your memory? It looks like it is running at 1066MHz (533x2) You might want to go into the BIOS enable the XMP profile under memory settings.TheDuffman26

what im trying to do is play rollercoaster tycoon 3 at max w/ donwloaded content and im big amusement park.. but for seme reason the bigger my park gets, the lower my framerate dips.. i just wanted to know if my ram is being utilized when i play it cuz i figure that w/ all my ram, i shouldnt get a slow down (or an occasional crash) since the game is like 6 years old, u know? lol

I have 3 questions.. (im such a newb)

1) is 1066mhz (533x2) considered fast?

2) how do i go into the BIOS and enable the xmp profile..?

3) what does that do?
