All these new games

Man, I just got reading through my new XBOX Nation magazine (my first one) and came through some very cool reviews.

Fable is coming out in a few days, thank God, and it's looks beautiful. I hear that the actual story play is somewhat lacking, but is made up for in the expansive character creations. The way you can so many things at your whim is pretty amazing and I'm looking forward to my reserved copy this tuesday the 14th.

Halo 2's online coverage sounds great. I only wish I had the money to play XBOX Live, therefore I wouldn't get that feeling of hopelessness when I know that somewhere alot of people are getting ahead of me. I love the Halo games alot, and wish I could play them with my freinds alot more than I know i will be able to. They will all be playing them each night and getting good, having laughs and enjoying their Halo time in a way I won't be able to as much. I guess it just comes down to the fact that I'm jealous they experience things that I don;t get to as often. What would usually happen is that I would halfway give up on actually trying to be great, and just step aside for the place of underdog. That sux.

Hopefully though, this new Bot system will actually be good. That way I can hone my skills to perfection and then when I come over......WHAM!!! I kick there asses. But only time will tell.

I'm really looking forward to the new Half-Life 2, the only problem is that i don't have a computer, and it's taking me so long too get to my desired stockpile of cash. Once there i'll build my tower, and erect it to the height of gaming. It will be a monster of a sight with the internal hidden powers equal only to my Elder Scrolls III Morrowind RedGuard.

The game itself looks phenominal, beautiful graphics and amazing AI. And to top it off they kept the same half life feel of the original. Of course i would never allow my computer to be bolted down to its foundation on Earth. I will give it flight through a cable modem, allowing me to soar at unreachable pings. These hieghts will be totally necessary if I am going to master the new CS Source, which i have begun to dream about.

im tired of typing

kotor

I never really realized how cool the KOTOR was until I thought about it earlier today. This must have been the first interactive RPG that I have ever played that had such a huge twist in it. I never fully expected to be the Sith Lord Revan.

That experience was unlike other RPG's I had played because of it's cool turn of events. If I look at Morrowind, I always knew (after a short amount of time) that I WAS the Nerevarine. I could always make my choices for right or for wrong determining my path towards what service I undertake whether good or evil, but I was always knowledgable in the fact that I was the nerevarrine and my character was set.

KOTOR redid the character story concept adding the cool new twist to the idea and making the game's story experience very fun in other ways that other RPG's had never done (at least that I have experienced). Though I do think the actual storyline and gameplay was not as good as many other interactive RPG's, it did add that new and tentalizing element that made the game touch a different part of me that others had not.

I only hope that the next KOTOR, will live up to it's predecesor, and I think it will in ways. THe gameplay and story from the first definately could have been improved such as vastness, and a better character system. But the twisting plot was very orginal and will be hard to overdue, especially since most people will be expecting it to try.

I have faithe in lucas arts, they have pulled off some very amzing things before, for instance the multi billion dollar franchise that has grown from what many people consider to be the greatest movies of all time.

thanks

I would just like to say thanks to gamespot for all the amazing stuff I can use in this basic membership.

I think this site is beyond most (if not all) others in it's huge selection and access for each and every person whos chooses to accept the rewards gamesopt has to offer.

I started out on this membership for just a way to look at a few vids and read a few walkthroughs. But of course my curiosity got to me and I began exploring. This wasway to cool for me to just pass off as any other gaming site. Forums? Good Reviews? Exclusives on upcoming games? and awesome video collections? This was the perfect place for me. Since then I have begun getting into the site and expressing my own gaming thoughts on the forums, expanding my gaming collections, and overall beefing up my profile. Hopefully all the hype lasts awhile, and my interests as well.

Thanks Gamespot for such a cool site.
