So i'm very curious to the name of which a favorite old classic game goes by. The game in queston was about a young boy going to a fantasy land where he had to fight shadows, and his motivation was to rescue his dog. I can't remember what this game was called but it came out in the late 90's and had incredible animation for its time. It was a cartoony 2d sidescrolling game, not too different from oddworld. I also remember that the game was head stompingly difficult.
