So I'm at my buddy's music store recording some screamo band from Fredricktown MO and it's taking FOREVER!!!! Some of the other guys are kind of bored, so I'm like "Hey, I brought my DS Lite with Mario 64. Anyone want to play?" And they're like "Yeah, sure." So I just whip it out of my pocket...

No seriously... I accidentally threw it when pulling it out of my pocket...

So now it looks like the inside of the top screen is shattered. It's not falling to peices or anything, but there's a big line down the middle of it and the pictures crazily distorted. I'm pretty sure it's busted. But everything else SEEMS to work fine. I can still play whatever game, but I just can't see anything on the top screen because it's all messed up.

Does anybody know where I can take it to get it fixed? A store, website, or phone number?

Thanks a bunch!!!

Could you please provide a link or subject to search. I must have overlooked that one on IGN. Thanks!

I just bought Platinum and want to get rid of my Pearl, but am not sure if I should because I use the GTS Cloning Glitch a lot to create backups of well bred pokemon in case i need them (no sense in breeding 7 strong Eevees if you want 7 different strong evolutions). Has anyone heard that it works in Platinum's GT, or has anyone done it themselves in Platinum?

Thank you very much for the confirmation. I posted this on serebii too and they said the same so I trust you. I just wish you could get the EVs and immediately get the stat boost because lvl 50 is the max. Oh! And there's no way they'll budge about the levels! :P This is the OFFICIAL 2009 world videogame championship put on by Nintendo and the Pokemon Co. 0_o

"And like i said, you won't even notice the changes... they are hardly noticeable, your pokemons status will grow a bit higher when he levels up but you won't notice it much... only when he is at higher levels (like you said 50 or more) is that you can clearly see the changes" That's what my question is really about. Is there any way to make the changes more noticable at lower levels. Like say for instance, cramming more EVs in at lower levels. The reason being, pokemon above level 50 can't enter the tournament, so I'm worried that all this EV training isn't really going to show up much at level 50, but it's all going to dump on at level 75 or something. :(

Nah. :) You didn't insult my intelligence! Don't worry. But... I have read the EV guides on Smogon, Serebii, Legendary, and Gamefaqs. I understand all the basics pretty much 100%. I'm applying EVs to the speed and special attack stats only to my pokemon because they already have high-ish special attack stats, in order to build a special sweeper team, oh and I have 51 rare candies, but I don't use them to permanently level up, just to check IVs in an IV calculator to see which bred pokemon is the best. I know where to get all my specific EVs, (speed EVs from that cave in the begining of the game with weak Zubats, and Special attack EVs from the abandoned mansion with Rotom in it). The only real question I have is, "Is there any extra boost from applying them early?" None of the aforementioned guides talked about such a boost, so it probably doesn't exist, but I just thought I'd ask incase anyone knew. I think I'm overthinking this EV training business. Oh, and I will take the advice to play it safe. Thank you. That's always good advice.

Thanks for the advice! I apreciate it. Still does anybody know if it's "best" to get all 510 EVs as early as possible, or does it not matter as long as you get them by level 50? I'm not going to miss some kind of extra boost by not cramming them all in before level 10 or something am I? Competition will be tough and I don't want to squander ANYTHING.

So... I'm getting a team ready for the 2009 video game championships. The team will consist of 4 pokemon all at level 50. I have all the pokemon bred. I have all the items and TMs I'll need. I have plenty of the right vitamins for my needs. I know full well where to e.v. train. I even have 4 exp shares! All 4 pokemon are ready and waiting to be trained up to level 50. The only problem is I'm worried I'm going to APPLY the e.v.s WRONG and squander my time and well bred pokemon. Is such a thing possible? What I mean is, is there a right/wrong/good/better/best way to APPLY the e.v.s? For example.., should I use all 10 carbos before or after evolving my Ninetailes, at level 1 or wait till 49 or 50? And, does it matter if i get all 255 e.v. points in whatever maxed stat as soon as possible, say level 15, or so, or does it just not matter as long as i get all 510 by level 50. Really I'm just looking for the highest stat boosts in the right spots by level 50. Does anybody know of any tricks/secrets?
