I have ordered a stepdown transformer 230v down to 110v (45KW) so hopefully that will do the trick, if not then i suppose i will just have to charge it through the laptop.

I have been told that if i buy a UK charger i will run the risk of doing damage to the DS because of the voltage difference, plus where in the owrld can you buy an oringnal DS charger from?

I bought a US DS lite, tried to charge it with a converter but didnt work. I have been charging it through the USB cable via my laptop and that works fine. I also bought a charger from Ebay (Not a genuine Nintendo charger) but this doesnt work either.

I borrowed my friends UK Nintendo charger and that charged my DS up no problem. I even borrowed my friends US adaptor that he uses for his laptop and that didnt work.

I am thinking that i might have a dodgy USA charger

thanks

i bought a cheaper version off Ebay, but it doesnt work. I cant seem to find any seller that sells an orignal nintendo charger. I think it has got soemthing to do with the voltage thats why it doesnt work.
