I've been away from Gamespot for the weekend and when I came back I did my regular routine - check the union forums, check the boards, check the news. When I got to the latter part of my routine I saw this article at the bottom of the page.
The first few games of this series were good and then when they came out with NFSU2 the series sunk for me. I absolutely did not like that game in the least. It felt like an upgraded NFSU with the same exact play only different tracks. That, at least to me, wasn't worth the $50 that I paid for it.
When NFS Most Wanted came out I had high hopes. It was still "underground" racing but at least there was a new element to it - the police. It gave you the feel that you were actually racing underground. It still wasn't a great racing game to me but it was good enough.
Now they have NFS Carbon coming in November for almost every console. I really don't know what to expect, I just hope it's not the same game they've already made with new tracks. EA seems to do that a lot though.
