[QUOTE="superkart64"]

wait so you bought a broken PSP thinking you could fix it by plugging the power cable in? WTF

The first thing in repairing a system is to check every possibility. Think of it when you take your car in to get serviced because it keeps dying and the engine misfires when it does work, even after you put a new battery in...everything needs to be checked, just to be safe, but through checking everything, they find you have a bad alternator and some dick drove a staple through all your spark plug wiring...Problems are only found by searching, searching requires diagnosis...and that only happens by examining to see what works. I hope this is going to explain the situation to you in depth. Alright, now to the main problem...I'm not exactly the smartest in this sort of repair work...but let me run some things by you: So everything is connected properly, you now got the system itself to turn on, yet the screen doesn't turn on...and I'm guessing you've checked to see if the screen is broken with any hairline fractures right? (The outside screen cover doesn't show them as much as the inside screen does...then again, I'm working off 2000 specs with how mine broke.) Guess that means you gotta replace the screen next...my guess is, this guy tried hard modding it, changing the lights up or something, and he cut an important wire. Or he's the kind of guy who breaks a system to sell it to someone who is unlucky enough to try to repair it, taking joy in seeing people like you suffer. So, the green light turns on, but you haven't told us if the sound or the Bluetooth light works...but the power works. Hrmmmm. I think he deleted the OS by short circuiting the system somehow. Think you might be able to get some way to go to factory reset?

When i turn it on the green light stay's on, but the bluetooth, and the green WI-FI light just blink. I tried putting in a new screen also, but it does the same thing. I can't hear scrolling through the menu, either. How do i factory reset?

I was thinking it's the battery also, because it's not a regular battery, it's a lipo. and i took the psp totally apart, and nothing is broken, everything looks good.

I have a black PSP GO that I just bought on ebay. I bought it broken, because i buy broken psp's like 1001, 2001, and 3001, but this is my first time i bought a broken psp go. The problem with it that it doesn't turn on. I bought a charger for it at target, pluged it in, and it still didn't turn on, not even a light turns on, completly dead. I asked the guy who sold it to me, how he broke it. He said that he bought it new, and he didn't play it for several months, then he got it out, tried to turn it on, it wouldn't turn on, he said he even pluged the charger in, and it still woudn't turn on, so that's why he sold it. I wanted a psp go like VERY BAD!! and i got a broken one, because a new one cost $200, but that's to much for me, thought i could fix it, but i can't. If somone know's what's the problem, please help me!!
