[QUOTE="deadfirezero"]If you're going to be playing games on a DLP TV, be sure to the best HD cable connection available to you, in order to avoid lag problems. DLPs are commonly reported to suffer more from this than any other type of HD televsion.

From Wikipedia:
Response time in video games may be affected by upscaling lag. While all non-CRT HDTVs have some lag when upscaling lower resolution input to their native resolution, DLPs are commonly reported to have noticeably longer delays. Newer consoles such as the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 do not have this problem as long as they are connected with HD-capable cables.

Thanks for the info. I plan on using htmi for both my360 Elite and PS3. I can't wait to see Heavenly Sword in all its 720p glory.

Thanks again for your help. I spent most of last night looking through the AVSF forums until my head hurt. I believe that I have decided on the WD-65734 from Costco. That is a really sweet price. I am a little worried about the loud humming that some have reported, but I am willing to take my chances.

Also, the Toshiba 65hm167 65inch 1080p DLP is $1699 right now at Best Buy. Only downside with this tv is the stronger silk screen, but if you are 10 feet or further away, and calibrate a little. might not be too much of a problem. It's what I have. I got it for $1750 shipped no tax at Onecall.com. The 65734 or the older 65732 were too expensive at the time for what I got with the Toshiba

Thank you so much for the info. I will definetly look into these tvs. Out of the many that I looked at, the Mits seemed to impress me the most. I just hope I can find something that will keep me happy for a long while. It just can be kind of hard to shop when you have a tight budget.

Hello all. I am considering purchasing this TV: Mitsubishi WD-65733 1080p DLP

http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/j/i/18326/TelevisionDetails/WD65733.html?cid=5385

I was wondering if anyone out there has one or knows someone that has one. Mostly I am interested in how this tv makes console games look. I havePS3 and a 360. Thanks for taking the time to read this and for any advice that is offered.

p.s. HD TV shopping can be at times confusing.

It is just one version with all the goodies. I am hoping they have one without, because all I am interested in is the game, other stuff takes too much space for no reason.mohmaaytah

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I am so looking forward to this game.

I agree that this game looks great. After watching the silly 1up video review I went out to reserve it. I do have a quick question...are there two editions of the game or just one? I really want the soundtrack and artbook but I forgot to ask the clerk about it. I hope I get the extra goodies. Any thoughts?

I enjoyed this film as well. My only complaint (like with the second film) is the shaky-cam stuff. I believe many of the scenes, when this took place, were intense enough without this effect. Disorients the heck out of me. Other than that I was pleased with what I saw. A very effective way of ending the trilogy.

On a random note...for some reason, a couple of times Julia Stiles looked kind of cute in the movie. I must be crazy.

I really enjoyed this game. I understand that it may not have had the depth of other fps but it was fun and a great ride while it lasted. My friend still pops it in every now and then. The game really clicked with him.
