Cause usually pc gamers are spending huge amounts of money on upgrades or new computers.

I think for the money we spend i expect max graphics on games.

I had that rig for abit before selling it around 3 weeks ago. Id give up on that and get a new one.

What sort of budget have you got for a new one?

End of the day its all about if you like to chuck money away. As if you get the duel core one now no dobut bit down the line you need the quad.

Not to say that duel wont last but tech moves so quick now. I ordered a new rig last friday expecting it this friday with the q6600 quad in it

I say go for the quad bit more future proofing yourself and its just a good price it cant be missed.

I have just gone for quadcore and 4 gigs of ram. I hear loads of good things from the quadcore and its good for overclocking just to get that bit more out of it.

If you live in the uk i can surgest one great deal to you. If you dont need monitor and speakers cost you 600 quid.

You wanna be carfull overclocking it too much. I say 3.5ghz is enough overclocking.

JUst remember get a decent cooling system in there.

Just future proofing my self as well.
