I've had this same thing happen to me maybe 4 times in the last week, not to mention a couple more times when I'm in the middle of an online gaming session and I'm logged out. At least in my case, it wasn't the internet connection (I work in I.T., if I can't figure that out I'm totally screwed!). If you just give it a minute or two, it will almost certainly allow you to sign in again. Mildly annoying yes, but not enough of an issue that I've devoted much time to it considering how much I've been playing online recently a few times where PSN perhaps is overwhelmed or doing an update or whatever it is isn't that big of a deal. How long have you been trying to sign in, has this been going on for a few hours now or was it a one time occurrence and you were interested in the reason so posted?

Wow, I hate my PSN name now - not that I can do anything about it. Dude, you have so many good suggestions above, there are some really funny ones and even one of two that keep your last name in there. Gotta say, it wouldn't have occurred to me to come on here and ask, but its certainly worked out in your case with so many helpful names

Thanks, I was guessing it was that. I only asked because I hadn't heard of a new DLC annoucement beyond the general we will be doing more after the last one. Maybe that means its coming out soon - I also thought it could have been after the PSN update the other day but I'm sure I've looked at it since then and it was still 100% so it seemed unlikely.

Killzone 2 and I'd add Dead Space cause I still pick that one up and play it even after all this time. MW2 of course cause its a shooter but certainly not my favourite and I'm sure there are loads more

Not that its a huge deal or anything, but today I happened to be looking at my trophies and noticed that Bioshock 2 went down from 100& complete to 87% complete for some reason. I already bought the add-on pack and have finished those trophies too. Is there another Add-on pack that is about to be released? Like I said, not a big deal, I'm just wondering if anybody else noticed this on their list or if you know why

There really isn't a set way I choose, the 360 was bought mainly for Halo and Gears of War and I have bought a few multiplat games for it but looking over at my tv now, there are definitely more PS3 titles. Online play being free certainly helps, Bioshock got on 360 but Bioshock 2 got on PS3. I do worry about the reliability of keeping the other one on all the time but to be honest, I don't follow a pattern of buying multiplat on just one system.

I know everybody else is gonna disagree since just about the whole planet bought it, but I regret Modern Warfare 2. Its not that I hated playing it, I finished it and it was fun for the short time it took to play but its one of the few games I actually paid the full $60 for and I just don't think I even got $30 of enjoyment out of it. I wish I could go back and either buy something else and rented MW2 or waited till it was way cheaper (few months ago got Bioshock 2 at the full $60 and definitely got my money's worth on that one so I guess it is possible even at $60)

Bioshock & Bioshock 2 are my all time favourites, but for PS3 exclusives its a tough call between Uncharted 2 and GOW3. Think Uncharted 2 is perhaps better as far as overall development, but I personally prefer GOW3 cause its the type of game I like.
