That's easy: both. After RE4 and ToS (imho), they were probably the two best games on the Gamecube. If you want to know where to start, Metroid Prime is the cheaper one at Gamestop.

RE4 is a near masterpeice. I loved every second of it.

Erebyssial

"Near" masterpiece? If any game since Ocarina of Time has deserved to be unequivocally called a masterpiece, it is RE4.

[QUOTE="xchurchillx"]i doubt it will happen. i never really like GB or GBC ga,es. The only time I would play them was if I in a car or plane for a really long time but it would be cool if you could download them on to your DS.ciaran22

Exactly, these games would not translate well to a large tv screen. Wait for the inevitable DC Virtual Console before you see this happening.

I still play GBA games on my Gamecube with the Gameboy Player and they look fine, about the same as a Genesis or SNES game. I think they'd be a great addition to the Virtual Console.

Tales of Symphonia, RE Zero, REmake, MK Deception, and Zelda Four Swords all get my vote, in addition to the ones people have already suggested.

remember when N64 games and Snes games were $89.99? I do, that's why I had so little because it was soooo expensive.simardbrad

I'm glad someone else remembers this, because it really puts things in perspective. Plus, I've heard that NES games, adjusted for inflation, were about $90 also. When you consider how much more content is in a game like Oblivion GOTY or Mass Effect for $60 than Contra, which can be beaten in an hour, for $90, it seems like today's games are a steal. Or you can just wait a few years and get games cheaply like I do. In the meantime, older games are just fine.

yea the rogue squadron games were good. i owned the 64 and the first 1 for gc and they were good games. not sure how the third one was, that one fell off my radar and i never got around to pickin it up.hards80

Battle for Naboo was really good also. It was another N64 game in the Rogue Squadron mold.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy for N64 would be sickZombieBlob7117

The N64 MK4 was a lot better than Trilogy. I hate to admit it, but the PlayStation got the best version of MKT. N64 didn't even have the original versions of Kano, Raiden, etc, or Goro and Kintaro. It had bad sound to boot. But while we're on the subject of N64 fighters, Fighters Destiny 1 + 2 and War Gods were really good.

I just figured out that this is from the same company that made Ogre Battle 64. Now I'm definitely excited.
