btw - uninstalled and reinstalled and still have exact same problem

L4D2 working fine prior to patch, now it crashes before I get to opening menu. Anyone else having this problem?

Demo was late, now this. Steam - how about building in a buffer so you know you'll make your deadline? It's called expectation management, and it's the difference between happy and sad customers.
