@plm3d_basic You have to remember that Tomb Raider was released to a wider audience (PS3, Xbox, PC), whereas TLoU was released on a single platform. Considering those points, the numbers suggest quite a success.

@GunEye I guarantee they'll be making it for next-gen consoles as well.

@Utra "Finally the "next gen" consoles only offer an increase in processing power and ram, visually they look no different"

I think it's safe to say the bump in processing power and other specs will have an effect on the visual fidelity of the games, to a noticeable extent. Like you said, maybe not quite the jump the last gen took, but I think you'd be wrong by saying the games will look no different.

@bigboobs1984 You're an angry soul. I can tell you take offense to the comments they made about the BF4 demo. I just think they're a bit let down that there's only better visuals in the demo and no noticeable enhancements in gameplay.

@GhostOfSparta4 I'm still enjoying my copy and have been since day one! Ignorance is bliss, I suppose. Really, though, BF3 on all platforms is an excellent game.

@Double_Wide @mctelinde In a sense, I agree with you. The thing Sony has to worry about is keeping up with Microsoft and their next-gen hardware. If they didn't have that competition, they might be able to eventually come out with a new iteration of the Cell processor. Although, I imagine that might also be more expensive than the hardware they've now decided to use in the PS4.

@Double_Wide If you want a next-gen PlayStation that is powerful enough to emulate PS3 games without using Cell processing architecture you'll be paying a pretty hefty price tag, and then you'll be bitching about how expensive the PS4 is. So, it's either an inexpensive PS4 that doesn't have BC or a $1000 PS4 that also runs PS3 games; take your pick. The point of new consoles is to play next-gen games, after all.

@Arkhalipso There's no in-engine footage in the trailer, though.

@PS360Wii4eva I don't think it's this kind of "nerd shit" that is causing mentally unstable individuals to commit crimes similar to that of the Sandy Hook incident and the Aurora shooting.

He's simply having fun with the game, like any gamer would. There is no seriousness in this video that he would apply to real world situations. I don't see any harm in the way he's acting.
