Mercenaries 2

I was shocked to see that gamespot gave the game a 5. I think that was a little harsh. I agree that the game has several bugs and they do get frustrating at times. I agree that the missions, i.e. HVT's and Destructions, get repetitive; though that can be fixed by changing up how you approach them. The bugs I experince are on the co-op side of the game, invisible walls, partner not able to successfully subdue and place HVT in chopper, but I really am enjoying playing this game and have chosen to overlook the flaws and am hoping for a patch. I give the game 7.5-8 fro all that is does do right.

The world is vast and it is fun to explore with a chopper. Fly around, get bored land blow crap up and then back in the chopper again. The Burnout tyoe of driving controls( left trigger to slide) gives the vehicle control a good touch and responsiveness.

Infected by Mass Effect!

As you all can see I have quite an extensive game collection and I like to play a wide vairety of games, somehow Mass Effect had not made it into my collection until this week. As soon as I loaded it up and began to play it, I kicked myself for waiting so long to such a treat. I highly recommend this Action RPG, the story engrosses you and the ability to customize challenges you to keep going, I find myself saying "ok, one more quest, just one more quest" I can't seem to put it down. If you havn't already, pick this one up..I see it as a cross between Halo and Oblivion...well maybe not but kinda, I guess. See you all on live!

Sometimes, uh....Change is a good thing!

I opened my gamespot page this afternoon to a surprise. I usually do not like changes to the familiar, especially since the horrible attempt by M$ to change xbox.com, but I have to admit I really think that the guys here at gamespot put alot of thought into it and have given a nice facelift to the site, not only to the exterior but I like how the game detail pages are easier to sort and run through to get new and detailed information. It is a very fresh and user friendly change, I have to say kudos! and thanks, keep up the good work!
