About a year ago, I bought the xbox 360. Since then, it has been broken 3 times. Twice I had the same problem as you. unplayable disc. And trust me, there is nothing you can do about it. The only thing is to send it in for repair. The console is a piece of crap from a technical standpoint. The dvd player is a Hitachi player and the problem that occurs is that there is a spindle that gets magnetized by the spinning of the dvd. Once it is magnetized, it can come loose from your dvd drive and it will stick to some metal piece. And that's the end of your drive. Sorry for you. I have already had my console for 2 months in repair in one year.
