Let me put the facts out. Never buy a windows OS until all the bugs are gone. I would say wait five years or more. I am going to stick with my Windows ME and Windows 2000. I agree with Equilibrium_340 100% The hackers want to target the largest group. So if more people are using Windows than Mac, the chances of Windows users getting hit are higher. Don't get me started on those stupid Mac commercials making PCs look like more of a hassle than it is. My Dad bought me my first machine in 2000 or earlier (I don't exactly remember when) . That machine still runs like its brand new. I replaced the HD (needed more space) and converted it into a little audio machine. PCs are a hassle my butt. I won't by from a company who thinks belittling the competition is neccesary. The first time I used a Mac machine was the last. Don't buy cheap machines. You get what you pay for.
