I been trying to decipher it on my free time by replaying COD4 and i found a clue, it involves the teddy bear in the trailer, because while playing COD4 the second mission of All Ghullied Up after you shot the mastermind and started helping Macmillan, you can find the bear in a room of the floor in the Apartments. I think there may be more, cananyone solve it?
yes they have already confirmed they are dropping the Call of Duty name, Modern Warfare is it's own franchise now. Activision saw what huge backing and fan base it has and gave Infinity Ward their own franchise "modern warfare" Treyarch will stil do Call of Duty games but Infinity Ward has moved on. IMO Infinity Ward wanted to seperate itself from treyarch because of the disaster known as Call of Duty 3 and the mediocre Call of Duty World At World.
Do you have a link to them confirming this? Not that I don't believe you but I think I would of saw this on Kotaku. The only article I can find is just speculation... not that it doesn't make sense. Well i'm all about it: the name change, the new game/franchise and especially the fact that its being developed by Infinity Ward. I only purchase IW developed COD games and couldnt stand how teryarch would piggy back on the success of their innovation and bring nothing new to the table. Modern Warfare FTWItalianSta11ion
