In the United States, students are allegedly most vulnerable to rape during the first few weeks of the freshman and sophomore years. According to the U.S. Justice Department, 1.7% of college women and 3.8% of men were victims of completed rape within a six month period, and in 90% of the cases the attacker was known to the victim.
According to one 1992 study, one out of twelve college aged men and one in every twenty college aged womencommitted rape, making each responsible for an average of three rapes.

Rape is vile regardless of victim/perpetrator gender. However why is it that men are typically looked upon solely as perpetrators of rape when the male victim rate is higher, and when women are also guilty of rape?
I raise this topic in response to ********'s who preach animosity towards men but are themselves chauvinistic.

Dude, stop with the "********" BS already. Actually, stop with the anythingnazi BS. That's overused. It's done with. People realize that WWII was terrible and too many people were killed for indescribably bad reasons. Stop calling people with opinions nazis already.
Onto your point. 3.4% of men being raped may be inflated but at least somewhere in a 3%-5% margin of error. I sincerely doubt that the female statistic is lower, though. Think about it for a second. Do you really think that every woman who is violated by an acquaintance or "friend" ends up going to the cops? Do you really think that they want to testify in front of a court when they know they're going to be asked questions like "how much did you have to drink? how many partners have you had in the past? are you sure you didn't want it?" in front of a jury and a room full of people?
It's a terrible crime, but god, man, WTF are you saying with your argument that men suffer equally from it?
