Despite the blizzard that covered most of western Washington yesterday (did you watch Monday Night Football last night?  Seattle was getting dumped on!) my town on the other side of the Cascades got no more than a little dusting.  It's fine powdery snow, unlike the slush we got on Sunday morning.  Makes me wanna make cocoa and sit by the fire.  Too bad I have homework - but what can I say, it's the end of the semester and the professors like dumping the work load on at this particular time of year. 

I'm hopeful for more snow, since where I grew up we always had white christmases.  Well, maybe I'll make a pot of cocoa and do homework.
