The home button on the 2nd remote doesn't do anything because it isn't connected.

Do you mean do that on the first remote?

I've purchased ghost squad and after a good 30 minutes of trying i simply can't get the 2nd remote to connect to the wii console. I replaced batteries in both. I turned off the wii and held down the sync button in order to re-sync the remotes. I even re-synced the 2nd remote to be first player to make sure they were both working. But WHATEVER i try i simply can't get the 2nd player to join in the game on the join in screen. It simply says "press +" to join. But pressing that does nothing.

I have no problem joining both remotes in for wii sports so what gives here?

No worries I've had the same thing happen twice also! I just got on here now to see if there was a post on this issue and wa-lah! Ya, I'm not happy at all with this ive been playing for some time now and didnt get a save in...second time this has happened. *sigh* patch please?

I played the game last night for about 2 hours. I quit when the game froze

My xbox 360 has frozen twice in different places in the world but both times right after clicking a on a newly discovered plasmid. These were two different plasmids in two different locations.

The first time through i hadn't saved so i had to start over when i found a new plasmidnear the telkenisis one and clicking a on it froze. And on the second time through the medical level when i clicked A on a plasmid i had already found and used the first time through this time it froze.

Is anyone else having this?

It's pretty fishy that it happens doing the exact same thing in difference places. Maybe it's a bad disk? Maybe the data stored to play the little movie detailing your new plasmid is stored on the same defective spot on the disk?

Yes get a fan. The PROD issue is due to overrheating. Adding good cooling will prevent the 360 from failing. It will not void your warrenty as even if the console does die they won't know you had added a cooling accessory.
