Cid was not in the original NES version, but introduced in FF II. Also if you noticed, he's always the person who helps you obtain your airship or "Flying Machine"
I'd have to say Treat cuz the wait time isn't a huge deal. I have other games to play and friends to hang out with. It's not like I sit at my doorstep whining about Final Fantasy XII coming out.
I definitely liked 7 more. It was second best to 9. The battle system was addicting and the story line was intense. I really didn't like the battle system in 8.

i loved it! the only thing I think they should have done is focus more on the other characters and not so much on Cloud. He was never one of my favorite characters anyways. 9/10
