@smokerob79: Why exactly would a company limit their audience based on what you think their platform 'should' be?
I'd love to see that meeting - "Hey guys, some random dude on the internet thinks we should do this only on tablet." "But what about people who don't have a tablet?" "Well I just don't give a shit, this guy thinks we should limit ourselves and that's exactly what we're going to do, god dammit!"

Hadn't even heard of this... Interesting choice for a WWII film, although could make sense for a British director, I guess.

300,000 men crammed into one small town while being bombed and shelled from every direction, waiting for help they weren't sure was coming. Yep, this could be an exceptional, if very claustrophobic, war film. Great cast, too.

@elmarine2066: Or someone who has enough money to not actually care about that sum? If that's true, then fair play to him.

@PETERAKO: What an imbecilic comment.... I remember Elder Scrolls Oblivion was awesome when it came out. But I guess they should never have added any other good things after, because it was already great? What a weird logic you have...

@dominoodle: Why in god's name would you buy Battlefront if you didn't have internet?? I mean, that's just shopper's stupidity. Jesus, it clearly states it's a multiplayer game, nothing to complain about there.

As long as they change the bowcaster's functionality for Chewie... It's an awful weapon in Battlefront. Would be even worse as a primary weapon.

You've got to imagine that either the Respawn or Criterion game will be the open-world RPG we've all been waiting for since KoTOR II. I mean, they wouldn't be stupid enough to ignore what so many of us obviously want.... could they??

@sbnewsom: I'm not sure I've seen anyone describe it as 'the best thing since sliced bread' but i have heard many, many complaints about how broken it is. And yet, people will play it - because it is the first game of its kind. It is innovative, even if executed poorly at times.. but you know what, the first of something usually isn't that great. We didn't start with a Playstation 4, you know. And it gets people outside and around their area, that's what people like, much more than the Pokemon appeal, I'd say.

From your post I get the feeling you haven't bothered to speak with anyone who does play it and like it or to understand their point of view, so how on earth are you qualified to comment?

@henchman216: I've already reported them to both companies, and more people should do the same. If enough do, perhaps they will actually sue. This is terrible marketing for their brand to be associated with these subhuman scum.

@Barighm: Market research is exactly the horrid thing that led us into this!! Marketing is nothing more than pandering to what people think they want - the thing is, most people have no idea what they want until they get it. People gravitate to the old stuff because it's highly marketed and shoved in our faces. Much like politics, we only get to see and talk about what they want us to see and talk about.

We are living in the most creatively dry period in cinematic history. Just a quick look at the cinemas will tell you everything you need to know. Ghostbusters, Indeshitence Day, Finding Dory (and all the other cliched animal movies), the Purge 1,2,3,4,5, Avatar 1 to 40... even Jumanji for christ sake.... It's just abysmal. And then there's the fricking superhero movies!!!

"Too much new content".. !? Where?? Please tell me which cinema you go to, because I must have missed this litany of new content you're talking about. What I remember is desperately trawling through indie films to find an interesting story that Hollywood clearly is no longer capable of delivering.
