It has only been out for 1 year. I am fine with the ganes that are out now. For me destiny is keeping me busy until other games do come out even though I know there are people on here that hate it. I dont know how people expect a crapload of games to come out in the first year. Our lives dont revolve around videogames.

So I went to gamestop today and bought the digital version of cod day zero to play at midnight. I went to enter the code and it said my code is incorrect or no longer valid. I went to gamestop and asked them about this and they told me only xbox owners can download it right now not ps owners, and said my code should work at midnight? Something still doesn't feel right though. I never did a pre download so I dont know how it works, I thought you could at least pre download it before midnight but you couldn't play it until midnight. Or do I actually have to wait until midnight to put in the code and download it?
I'm still enjoying the games I have for my ps4 doesn't matter to me. All these topics about ps4 vs xbox one are sad it's like your really hoping to convince someone of "your opinion". Enjoy whatever system you own man. Great games are out for both systems and great games will continue to come out for both systems. Everybody bought the systems they like and prefer anyone posting about what sucks won't change anyone's opinion on the matter. You say no one can talk about future games or th he fact it had better resolution and graphics so you know no one will have anything to argue back. Your making the topic one sided from the beginning.
I'm appreciating everyone's help thanks guys! So it sounds like a safe bet to go with the i7 4790k then. With the amount i'll be spending I guess I dont see why not spend that extra 100. I also definitely want an ssd as my boot drive from the research ive done seems like a no brainer. Should I just get 8.1 and then when the time comes upgrade to 10. I know of the programs like classic shell and whatnot to get a functioning start button for the time being. I'm just torn on choosing a gpu. I feel like getting a single 980 but the price of 2 970's and the performance you get is sooo tempting :). Plus they are basically sold out everywhere :(. I live in staten island, ny I dont think theres a micro center in any of the 5 boros of nyc that's another bad thing :(. Sorry if i'm asking a lot of questions I just wanna be sure before I pull the trigger on spending this kind of cash even though i'm going to enjoy it :).
I have to say i'm a little disappointed. I have been looking forward to this since they revealed it. No weather, mediocre single player (not that any racing game had an amazing single player anyway). I feel like I would get bored with it after a week or 2. It forces you to join clubs because you can't unlock certain cars unless your club has a certain rep, and what's with them only being European cars? Hopefully they fix that after but you know your going to have to "pay for it in upcoming dlc". I hope i'm wrong about that. I'm glad there is a free version so I could try it maybe i'll like it I can't completely judge it until I play it really. It does look gorgeous I can't deny that I just wish there was more than 50 cars :(.
So like the title says i'm a current ps4 owner and i have been thinking about building a pc for a while now. I do love my ps4(I've been a console person my whole life). But i have been doing a lot of reading on pc gaming and building one for a while where I feel confident enough to build one. I love all platforms and appreciate all games regardless of platform. Steam has come to seem real appealing lately though, with the abundance of games and all the sales going on all the time. I kinda feel like i'm missing out on some great games. I keep delaying also because it seems every time u really up theres always something new coming out just on the horizon but i'm getting sick of waiting already haha. If I do end up pulling the my budget would be around 1800-2000 and that's including monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I do have a few questions regarding the build like 8gb or 16gb. I7 or i5. I see a lot more recommended specs say i7 nowadays. Sorry if im rambling im new to the forums and just looking for advice.
When do they plan on adding photo mode and weather? I thought the whole reason for the delay was so they could have the dynamic weather in the finished product.
If I lived in a world where I could afford it, I would own an Xbox one, pc, and the ps4 to enjoy everything :). For now I can only enjoy my ps4.
I'm looking forward to playing driveclub tomorrow. But I think i'm going to download the free version first and see how I like it before going ahead and buying. I wish more games were like that, almost a try before you buy feature. I think everyone will be able to judge the graphics when it gets released tomorrow. But we all know there will be 2 types of people. The ones who say it looks absolutely amazing, and the ones who say it looks like trash. So there really isn't any point arguing about it. Only thing that matters to me is if it plays well and the social features that they keep talking about actually add positively to the experience.
