okay guys, it didn't read any of my ps3 discs, and i keep very good care of them and everything. So I turned everything off for a while and was getting ready to call sony, but I figured I would turn it on and give it one more try, and now it reads my games again fine? Weird...but I have a feeling it will break again sometime soon...I am out of the warranty now anyways, so I guess I will ride it out and hope it was just a day long fluke.

Thanks for the responses

My PS3 has been working fine for over a year, and I played it already today. When I turned it on a little bit ago it will not read any games anymore?

But here is the weird part...it plays both DVDs and Blue Rays perfectly. I figured it would not read blue rays since it won't read any PS3 games, and was wondering if anyone else had similar issues?

I'm trying to get my PS3 online wireless, but i seem to need my WPA key.
I've typed in my IP adress into my browser and woops, it seems i need a username and password.
Either my dad created one years ago when it was set up (if he did, he's forgotten everything about it)
or i just need the default, which would be cool if he hadnt also lost the manual

so tell me, am i totally screwed?

you just gotta reset the router to its default settings and you will be able to get in fine. as long as you have physical access to your router it can be reset

I have $180 dollar super high quality monster cable and I get that, it's a problem with the PS3 switching resolution, and it can't be fixed.

sorry. . .

zachslayer

you spent $180 on your HDMI cable? lol...rip off

f.e.a.r is just average. warhawk is very good, but has a relatively high learning curve so be ready to get owned by everyone when you start playing it

when did you try to download 2.4?

they pulled the update for 2.4, so if you currently only have 2.36 it will say you are up to date
