Don't mind the other changes but I would indeed be concerned about the unions. Sure, I understand why you're taking them away, but I would also have something in place to compensate for their loss. Why not create boards for the unions that are still reasonably active? They can be hidden - don't have to be listed on the main boards - but they'd at least provide some sort of continuity and would ease the transition. Doesn't seem right to just terminate them completely - these are well established communities we're talking about here. They have been resiliently kept afloat - that must count for something.
Interesting. I remember once wondering this myself and pretty much went through all the same stuff. Additionally, we also empathise with zombies. We see them as former humans - what they used to be and what they used to be like. The thought of witnessing and knowing their continual decline and deterioration brings feelings of sadness. Ever observed a zombie in a classic RE game? How they sometimes just stand there, or they're wandering aimlessly around, without a particular noticeable goal in mind? It's that type of feeling - utter emptiness.
