mine was a 40gb, 2usb i got it like a week before COD4 came out so late 2007, FROM CIRCUIT CITY no less haha what luck, but to be honest i treated my ps3 like crap left it on for days on end(on at least 8 hours a day for), powered down while hdd was running or even while it was saving often, picked it up and moved it while playing games, used it in my garage for parties then back inside, was always covered in dust and often felt over heated but to play it like i did and have it just break a few weeks back i dont really think i can complain, it just saddens me i have barely scratched the surface on demon soul's and have lost all modern warfare 2 skills i had(tried playing at a friends the other day and it was ugly) but if their is a way around paying for a new/refurb ps3 with money that i dont really have i am willing to attempt it

i only had the opportunity to play the original, but if uncharted 2 was even half the game the original was than i would probably put my money on it being a great game.

was the replaced HDD a 7200rpm?

Sony sent me out a FREE refurb 60gb to replace my phat 60gb. i $hit you not...

no it was 5400, and i would kill for a working ps3 free of charge...when i called sony they said i would have to pay the 150 though. i wish i could buy a working ps3 w/o the hard drives though, i mean i payed $100 for the 500gb so im going to throw it in my ps3 if i have the ability to do so.

original resident evil(much like RE: Archives on the wii) with top notch graphics and better controls/weapons but same "mansion crawler" key finding, puzzle solving,ammo saving style.

so my ps3 is way out of warranty so i am aware i have no other choice but to pay the 150 to sony for a new one, or go get a new one from the store so do not reccomend that but, a while back my ps3 said cannot find correct hard disk so i went out and i bought myself a 500 gb SATA hdd Seagate MOMENTUS and threw it in thinking it would fix the problem and it did !!! then about a week or two later when i went to turn on my system BAM three beeps and the YELLOW LIGHT:( !!!!!! has anyone else had this happen..im curious was the ps3 broken before i put the new hdd in it or did the 500 gb drive cause the ps3 to take a crash ?

why is it that every time my pitcher fields a ground ball and i hit O to throw to 1st..and he throws it to 3rd....ive been trying other buttons but X goes hom and square threw it to second ????? im in fear for the life of my controller and tv screen if this keeps up someone please help hahaha

you just have to shoot the barrels at the right times while fighting the big ass troll thing and he cannot attack like he picks up the rock u shoot the barrel he drops the rock..he rips the telephone poll out of the ground...you shoot the barrel he drops the poll then u just unload on his face and make sure you dont over heat and boom done no damage taken almost a garunteed S rating

this game def gets at least a 4, the controls arent that bad and for everyone complaining about the knife, there is basically one use for the knife and that is to break open crates so not being able to move w/ it makes little to no difference. graphics are awesome, bosses are epic and replay value is through the roof. it isnt as scary as dead space but it is not as boring as dead space is either. the only problem i have with this game is that i had way to much ammo, but i was playing on normal and w/ my friend so i guess i may have just gone through less ammo w/ help from another person as opposed to AI. if you want to play a fun game that is actually worth your 60 bucks then get RE5

In game KZ2 and RE5 are almost to close to even make a decision but KZ2's cut scenes are just better. they do a better job of facial movments like lips and eye brows/forehead than in Resident Evil, so i'd have to say KZ2 has better graphics than resident evil but ive already played through re5 on normal and veteran and done all the mercinaries levels and ive yet to beat killzone 2(due to the difficulty of the last level and that it just isnt as fun as re5)
