I like The Super Mario Bros Movie, It's probably just because I loved it as a child (You know, back when my tastes were almost non-existent.) Most people seem to hate me for enjoying it.
I think Mappy would be great. I think that if Namco wanted, they could make something like Mario Odyssey, and since they haven't visited the series in so long, it would be the perfect opportunity to experiment. I'd like to see how they could handle such a simple game in a 3D environment. Maybe he could run around and search for wanted criminals or maybe it could be like their response to Grand Theft Auto but with a cutesy art style and characters. I'd just love to see him make a return to the gaming scene.
