Hey guys, I don't know if anyone else has played the game Hamster Ball for flash, but I just found out that there is a new one coming to the PS3! (well at least same name and what sounds like the same game mechanics). Apparently the flash version of Hamster Ball I've been playing is actually a remake of an OLDER game called Marble Madness, which I've never played, but I bet some people here have. Anyway, I really loved the version for flash and am thinking that I might get the new version of it when it comes out.

ESRB and the article says it is by Creat Studios, which have done a bunch of remakes of old games and flash games like Cuboid and Digger, which have turned out to be pretty true to the originals, but just better graphics. I'm really hoping that Hamster Ball is the same as this, but won't buy without seeing some good movies first (or a demo if we are lucky). How do the rest of you guys feel about remakes of older games? Are they worth doing or would you rather just play a new game? For me, if I like the original, I'll pretty much buy the remake when it comes out. Even if it is kinda the same play experience then at least the graphics will be better, and depending on the price it could be worth it. What do you guys think?

Oh smoke? That is how it is supposed to be! Just play with a mask and goggles and keep a fire extinguisher nearby! :) But ya... call Nintendo and tell them.

Won't that affect his access to games that are released in other countries first, etc.?

Hmm maybe it wouldn't launch cause HalfLife exe was already running, and it used the same exe, but when you closed it the other one could launch?

Could be really big or could make a lot of people disappointed... the bigger the hype, the harder they fall or rise

Always digital and physical... if you have digital, burn it to physical... if you have physical than make it digital. Disks can break and get scratched, computers can get wiped, but the chance of both happening are pretty remote. Much easier to mount/unmount digital copies, but by too much.
