Games are designed on PC's ? Not yours, obviously...! Games will allways run better on consoles because devs know what they're developing for not a zillion video cards, and a gazillion sound devices, etc.. Devs develop their games for the average Jack, not for the niche of people that bought the video card that came out yesterday, or the one that'll come out monday. Ever thought about, why companies push cosole gaming and not PC gaming ? PCs = work Consoles = ludic time
I hate "office desk gaming", for me gaming is in my living room, just pop the DVD in, sit back on th chaise long, and enjoy the big HDTV screen - but..., don't flame me, that's my choice, as I work on an "office desk" +10 hours a day, don't want to spend my spare time on the same "below-par thing".
- Dead or Alive 4 (360) - Condemned (360) - FIFA World Cup 2006 (360) - Dinasty Warriors 5: Empires (360) - Top Spin 2 (360) Retro is not my thing, as one can tell by the list. Only spend my time on the top machine.
ssj4_2004: wine doesn't allow you to run complex win32 progrmes, and not DirectX ones that's for sure. It allows only to run very simplistic, and with specific library calls (very limited, but very usefull, I use it a lot to run some DVD backup programs for instance, that my Linux distro lacks).
7x controllers; 2x 1080p; an awsome rumble enabled boomearng controller; no SKU's - that's for loosers; no motion gimmicks - that's for kids: what do you want more ? this is the true next-gen. LOL!
My humble prediction is that sooner than later, Sony will release a PS3 version with a regular DVD player, much, much cheaper. I'd gladly swap 100Eur, for the BD "thing". What's BD for anyway, locale-versions: just put it all in English, and people will spend the money in education, it's better spent.
