If you go with X, might take a bit. One time I played it, I had nearly 90 hours into the game. I'm a sucker for Blitz Ball. :)

Omfg Blitzball was great, spend so many hours on that too. To answer the topic, FFX is what most people who are introduced to the series start with including me.

Even when I reached a certain point in the game, where you didn't have to play it anymore, I stilled played it. :)

That's a tough call. I would say IV, because then you can go to tactics and X and they will just get better and better. However, it seems like peoples first FF games tend to become their favourites, so you might want to chose one that's still blow away like X.

I think the epic storyline started with IV.

And if you start with IV, won't take you that long to complete.

Thank you for the response.

That's what I thought. From a practical standpoint, it would get kind of confusing with multiple devices

There is, of course, a new system coming out in June. How backwards compatible it is remains to be seen

Crono Trigger for PSP or DS.

Final Fantasy VII, VIII and IX for any platform

Just a simple wishlist that I know isn't happening at present
