If you have a connection for it, I believe you could just buy a pc monitor, plug it in and right click get into the display settings click a few options and hey presto you have a new screen, but your laptop would essentially become a desktop with its lack of portability:P

Hi guys
I was using my laptop as normal playing a flash game, then bam the whole thing shutdown no warning just off as if there was no power left when it was plugged in and the battery was full. I took the power cable out and when I put it back in the usual blue light that appears when the power cable is plugged does not appear and there seems to be a very faint clicking noise coming from inside. The bottom of the laptop was quite hot but not unusually so.
From googling i thought this clicking sound might have meant a failed hdd. The one piece of luck i have is that i have a second laptop which is the exact same (long story :P ). I swapped my hdd into the working laptop and found that its completely fine, ive also checked the power cable and thats fine too.
Sooooo basicly, laptop not switching on, no lights to show power cable and faint clicking noise but hdd is fine.
Anyone know whats going on?
Thanks a lot, would appreciate any info :)
