I have read the FAQ, and it seems all the ones quoted are about double the price in canada, and the cheaper ones seem not to fit larger eared people (from reviews) So I'm looking for $80 canadian headset, good for gaming/movies (mostly gaming though). I'm not an audiophile, but I like good surround sound, and nice bass, and clear sound. Any recommendations?

I need a sound recommendation. I am looking for a headset for my PC and Xbox (xbox chat is not that needed). Right now I am using a laptop that hasBuilt-in Azalia compliant audio chip, with 3D effect & full duplex. Not sure what that means, but 5.1 or 7.1 is important to me, even if it's faked, I want to be able to hear where a sound is coming from.

For headsets I am looking at (sorry gamespot is not liking it when I try to link them, I am looking at ncix.ca)

Corsair Gaming Audio Series CA-HS1A Headset 50MM - $45

Siberia V2 -$89

Turtle Beach Ear Force X12 - $59

Razer Chimaera - $126 built in 5.1

In order to make it 5.1/7.1 for my xbox I am guessing I will use the astro mix amp 5.8 pro. Will this also work for my computer to generate nice surround sound?

I will also be using these headphones for work, to make things a bit quieter (noise cancellation headphones are too expensive, so I don't expect that)

Any suggestions would be great.

Looking to spend up to $200 but I would rather spend a lot less. (if I can get by without the mix amp pro that would be awesome)

I would say Halo, only because it takes more damage to kill. So, in COD you can sit and hide, pop off a few shots and get a kill. In halo, if you try that the other guy will turn around and kill you. but street fighter takes this

I was very intrigued by the first trailer, but honestly, I wanted a darker, more mature game. Im all for RPG elements... But This game looks like a l4d/dead rising 2 clone. I was looking forward to a more Resident evil type game.

Shmiity
I agree, I will still get it, but I wish it was more like Condemned 1/2 but with zombies/island setting.

I think they are going for all directions, they are a large enough company that they can easily do this. As long as they focus on power at the start you can do any gimmicky add-on afterwards

If they do...they will lose another customer.

bobbetybob
If you're buying the game used you're not a customer anyway. I honestly don't see the problem with this, just pay the extra bit of money, get the game new, and support the company that made the game not at games shop.

@bobbetybob Thats not correct. My friend and I share a place, and we both have our own tv/xboxs, but we usually buy one game and trade them back and forth, we are not purchasing this game or Homefront because of that. That means they lose a customer. If it was a really really great game, we might buy two copies, but not for medicore games.
