By any chance, are you running a monitor with a 1280x720 resolution?

There's another thread (http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26928294) with another guy who has met the requirements but can't run it (myself included). Silly reason for the game not to run!

Holy crap!!! So this was why I couldn't get my system to run The Sims 3... My monitor's native resolution is also 1280x720. I thought that it was weird that my system aced the requirements needed to run The Sims, but kept getting an error message. I hope they can come up with a patch soon.. It's kinda unfair not mentioning the game won't run with a 720p monitor even if your system is up to par (or better) with the requirements... Buying a new monitor should NOT be the solution here.. Lol.

Isn't there any way to force the game to start at 1280x720? Like modifying the options.ini file or something like that?

Great game!!! I'm actually sad that I already finished it!!! :| Already repeating it on hard mode. Great story, great graphics, long enough compared to other titles on the PSP.

The DMW is something to get used to.. It can be unfair when luck's at your side and the wheel spins to your favor a lot of times in one battle.

I really hope they do a remake of FFVII! The very last cinematic really got my hopes up.

Hahahah! I was already expecting Zack to die at the last few scenes, but I sooooo desperately tried to kill those infantrymen and save Zack!

Resident Evil does have its moments, but I'd still consider it a much better action game than anything else... Silent Hill just sets the mood damn well!!! I find Silent Hill a bit freakier, gross, disgusting, yet cool, monsters... you know...

For an RPG, get Tales of Etnernia!!!

I also have Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, and Valhalla Knights... I sill think ToE is waaaaaaaaay better!

Spider man 2!!! As many reviewers and magazines placed it, you really feel like you're a superhero! It felt almost like GTA but with no vehicles, and you're Spidey.

Spidey 3 seemed like a rush job. Graphics for the PS2 didn't seem to be updated a lot, combat system was bad, imo...

Spiderman 2 was waaaay better than the first! Excellent game! Gave me lots and lots of hours.

Looks like there's some good feedback. But can anyone compare it to Tales of Eternia? In terms of story, combat, etc...
