I still call it an MMO and try to stand my ground sometimes that it is an MMO but apparently one of the main factors of being an MMO is to have a "persistent world."
Forgive me but I have been out of the games news for quite a long time now just read a few articles that Guild Wars 2 will feature a persistent world.
I am conflicted. I shall wait for the Secret World and Guild Wars 2 reviews then decide from there whether I should jump into MMO games, at least try them but the first one I want to try better be worth my time.
I've just remembered about "EA partners." It may still seems a bit iffy EA promoting an "indie bundle" but with their "EA partners" which seems more catered to third party companies. Even though these larger third party companies are, well, larger, are they not independent?
@DeadPhoenix86 That time wasn't too long ago. Around the late 90s and early 2000, they were seen evil game corporation. Only quite recently were they the lesser of two evils, relative to Activision.
Reviewing games is hard, especially with the controversies of paid-reviews. Been here with GameSpot for quite a while and I seem to have the same taste with most of the reviewers. So, I mostly trust what I read (along with other game review sites).
Coming back to comment more. Really liking the site, it's more blog-ish now with the news listed like that. Calendar is much more useful unlike before. Though, the unions could use some updating.
