WOW, is all that can be said to what has happened to Jeff.

I cannot believe that Gamespot (now known as Corruptspot) even has the right to fire a man that voiced his opinion!Doesn't it state inour First Amendment Freedom of Expression/Freedom of the Press". All Jeff did was voice his opinion on a horrible game. It is notas if the game wasa large profile game anyway, ex (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess).

Jeff is a pioneer of this site and I think CNet has to give him a little more respect than this, for a man that has done so much for this site it is shocking you can just fire him for something as stupid as a dumb review. Just goes to show you that money does prevail over everything else.

I believe Gamespot/CNet have really done themselves in this time, they are showing this site is run like a communist nation. So long Jeff Gerstmann, you will be missedby many, andwe all wish you the best!

Now the question remains is Gamespot a creditable site after this incident. Can we the users who are only looking for an honest opinion on games believe them anymore?

I Think Not!

WOOOOOO Super Mario Galaxy!!!

I finally got the highly anticipated Super Mario Galaxy today on Launch Day. I got itat the Nintendo World Store in NYC and the lines there for the game were huge. I played the game for almost 2 hours now and I would have to say so far the BEST 3D Mario game to date. It has so many elements that it would take so long for me to explain in this blog post. Just do yourself the favor and go out buy the game play it and see for yourself how stunning the graphics are, beautiful the music is, and just how great this game is. Can't wait to play it some-more.

BTW, it has my vote for GOTY!

I Finally Got It.

Yes indeed I bought Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii today. After about 2 years of really wanting to play this game, I finally was able to play it today. I never played the game on the PS2 or Xbox 360 because I never owned the systems so this is my first time playing a Guitar Hero game and I LOVE IT! I personally love rhythm games (I loved Elite Beat Agents, and also thought Jam session wasn't too bad), but this games beats both of them. I can't wait to get really good at it so I can pwn some people online.

Just Got Mario Strikers Charged!!!

This game is pretty cool I didn't expect to like it as much after playing it the first time. The Wi-Fi is a great addition to the game and I see myself playing this game for a long time.

And I only bought it for $40 on familyvideo.com. But shipping took forever, the wait was worth it though!

My Journey With Nintendo.

People tend to have very intriguing stories about how they began to like a company or a product; I have one about how I became a huge fan of Nintendo.

It all started when I was about 4 years old. All of my cousins had a Super Nintendo except for me, so when I would go to their houses I would play from the moment I walked in to their houses till the minute I left. I would love to play games such as Super Mario All-Stars (Super Mario Bros. 3 being my favorite) and Super Mario World as well as the Donkey Kong's which came out later. But in October of 1997 for my 7th birthday my Dad bought me my own Super Nintendo and you would think that that system alone would make me a Nintendo fan for life because the Super Nintendo is the BEST system of all time IMO. But NO I loved my Super Nintendo with all my heart I had a bunch of games but the huge success of the PS1 got to me and I was caught in the craze so in 2001 I sold my SNES to buy a PS1:cry:.BIG MISTAKE!

For some odd reason the PS1 did not appeal to me and I really didn't enjoy it much as I expected to so I sold it in about a year and bought an XBox on my birthday with the help of my Dad's money. And I really enjoyed the Xbox it kept me interested for a while I enjoyed all of the sports games and Halo. But in 2004 I started to feel a little home sick. One of my cousins had purchased a GameCube in 2002 and when I would go over to his house we would play Mario Party 4 and SSBM. This made me miss the Mario games again so in 2004 again on my birthday I asked for a GameCube and I got one. This was the beginning of something special, my return back to Nintendo with the help of my great cousin. So after I got my GameCube I bought almost all of the Mario Games on it, I played through them all and loved most of them. Then I started to loose interest in the GameCube because of the lack of new games so I started to play and but games for my XBox again.

Then last summer came the BIG turn around. My cousin had bought a Nintendo DS the year before and he wanted to buy the DS Lite when it came out but he need to get rid of the original DS so that he would be able to buy it. He offered me if I wanted to buy and at first I said I'll think about. Then with much convincing on his part I agreed. He bought the DS Lite and I bought his DS (best move I have ever made). I fell in love from the moment I got the DS and New Super Mario Bros. That summer was one of the best I had because of my DS and slowly I was going back to being a Nintendo fan. Then as the launch for the Wii drew closer me and my cousin both were getting excited he was definitely going to buy it while I was still a little hesitant. Again my cousin worked his magic and made me fall in love with the Wii. The Wii was the only thing that me and him would talk about for weeks before its launch. Then the faithful day came Saurday Nov. 18th 2006 the night before launch this night was an emotional roller coaster for both me and my cousin because of the Gamespot reviews such as Red Steel and Excite Truck. We were both planning to buy those games but after the reviews came out we were very hesitant. That night on Gamespot's On the Spot Launch of the Wii in NYC we saw the whole show together and we were so excited. I was so excited that I wanted to buy the Wii on launch at our local Circuit City. We stayed up until 3 A.M. that morning of Nov. 19th and when I finally went to bed I was so excited I did not know what to do the next morning to go or not to go? I got up at 6 A.M. and WENT FOR IT.

I went to Circuit City and stood in line for about 4 hrs in the freezing cold in NYC, Queens waiting 54th in line to get my Wii. When I finally got it I was so happy I felt like a 5 Year old on his birthday, it was great. After I bought plenty of games for the Wii I went and bought a DS Lite which was almost the last step for my complete transformation of becoming a Nintendo fan again. The last step I took was selling my XBox. I really loved my XBox but with the combination of the games constantly freezing and me wanting to become a 100% Nintendo fan I sold it. Now that I am 100% of a Nintendo Fan Boy I am happy I went back to my roots in video games. And I want to give a special thanks to my cousin GCCG who made this transformation possible. No that I am back with Nintendo there is no way I will be going back to any of the other companies.
