you know one thing.. i wonder if zelda was actually really popular when it was released in 1986.. or if instead it simply grew into a franchise with time... hmm, anyway off to bed then
yea, it would be nice to get down to just one game for each year... the list is getting a bit cluttered! anyway i better get some sleep now. ps. it would be nice to have the list continued from the year 2000 until 2010... perhaps even go back to the seventies to the birth of computer games...
I just noticed you seem to be using the original releases for games. 1987 was the NA release date for Zelda, it released in Japan in 86. Therefore I second Final Fantasy for your game for 1987.
