Well if anyone is still interested I just got the Master Sword. It does in a sense "break" but they call it "running out of energy." Basically it has durability and when it gets down to zero it becomes unusable for 10 minutes. It does last longer however when you use it on the appropriate bosses.
@consolehaven: Well I got the Master Sword now. It in a sense "breaks." It has a durability like other weapons except when it's "out of energy" you just can't use it for 10 minutes. Oh, and apparently fighting mini-bosses is considered "using without need."
@ballashotcaller: I'm pretty good with the fighting system and I pick up weapons as I find them. I made all kinds of boss battle foods. But I still lost simply because my weapons didn't last long enough to finish the boss and there were no weapons nearby. If that's fun for you, cool, but I don't really like it.
Well, I'm sick to death of the durability. Even the master sword needs recharging for "using it without need." It's a sword, it's supposed to be used to kill monsters. People keep saying it's cool because it forces you to use different weapons and loot monsters. Well you can do that regardless of if there was a way to fix weapons. They made my favorite game into an elder scrolls game so why not use the way to fix the weapons as well? If you didn't want to use it fine. If you want to use multiple weapons fine. But I'm tired of using up all my weapons because a monster has too much hp for my collected weapons.
Well from this video I see no reason to go out and buy a Switch. The only thing I was wondering about was the frame rate. This game definitely has trouble with frame rate in denser areas.
@Tomcat2007: I'll put it this way. I was fighting a hard boss and with two of my weapons I got him down to half health. I had five weapons left and they weren't strong enough to finish him off.
