A few quick questions:

Is picture quality an issue? Do you want normal photos? or extremely sharp pictures? (almost at an SLR level)

What size? small enough for a pocket?

Do you want it to also do some video?

Is user friendliness an issue? or are you capable of using more advanced electronics?

Also last thing is do you want it to be water/shock/dust proof?

NVIDIATI

1- Not necessarily extremely sharp pics but I was some pretty good modern quality type pics.

2- Size is not an issue.

3- Would be a bonus but not the primarily reason.

4- User friendly would be ideal, I have no experience with cameras.

5- Would also be a nice bonus but isn't important to me

Hope these answers help/

Your not going to build a great gaming maching for $500.00. Budget yourself around $1,000.00 and you can probably get a nice machine.

It's probably cheaper just to buy a PS3 or 360 if you want high end games but just my two bits.

d_parker

I have a ps3 and what? Why not? I don't need a lcd screen, windows cd, keyboard etc. All I need is the desktop equipment and with 600$ I should easily be able to build a high end pc no? 1k sounds good if including the screen etc.

So last time I've been my pc and followed pc hardware was in 2003 so everything now is completly different.

I'm going to build a pc, just the desktop and was wondering IF now is a good time to build or should I wait for something ( cheaper deals soon, New hardware soon).

With that said my desktop, Im thinking of putting a budget of 500-600$ and I DONT need windows cd nor any accessories (lcd, keyboard etc). Would that be enough for a great GAMING pc?

Thx in advance.
