I received my Xbox back today how do i know whether they sent a refurbished Xbox as opposed to a new one, it just says they gave me a replacement one on the sheet.?

Pull it from the side closer to the button as that is where the connection is.
I always pull it from the far side which is wrong.

when i sent in my "repair your console" information online..it came up as no product SKU's available for the info you sent in

i called the xbox hotline, and this guy tells me i will recieve an email

my problem is with the connection to the HDD and i got my 360 picked up on Wednesday, last week and it should be back to me on Friday, i live in the UK.

Btw did anyone get anything for their xbox breaking down, i really think i deserve more than 1 month Xbox live card cos ive already paid for 12 months anyway?

alright i've set up my repair status on the website.. and they now need to send the box out and for it to be collected. I've got an email that says i have a UPS label ready. So it seems that i need this company to sort it out. Will microsoft already have set up an order with them and there on there way. Or do i have to organise it myself?

Please can someone explain this? and the process they went through? Because i really need help. Thanks so much guys :)

Hey just ring UPS up and say you would like to arrange a pick up.

They will ask you what it is, you say Xbox360, they will ask is it going to Frankfurt, you say yes.

You tell them the time and place they willl do the rest.

As for re-collection i dont know, im on day 6 of NO XBOX!

Just ring them up and see what they say, see if they take it in for repairs

i had my console for just under a year and i got three red lights about 2 hours ago. it came with error E 74

i didnt know what to do so i came on here to see.

Any error just ring them up and they will just ask you to send it away.

Btw i sent my Xbox away on Wednesday and it arrived at repairs on Friday, what day do you think i will get it back?

Also i send an e-mail saying i want further compensation, if they dont reply do you guys just ring up the normal number and ask to spek to someone higher up?

I think it should be in December if its any later i wont be buying the game for sure.

I just get put off games which are out on other consoles but not on the platform you want, it becomes an old game in my books. And obviously early 09 is saved for FEAR 2 which will ROCK!

Also whoever said DICE know there PC games, BF2142 was buggy as hell, took long enuf to get it working on Vista. Nevertheless a good game.

I dont see why people are knocking the game, i played the demo on the 360 and its really good and different.

However that doesnt mean it instantly matches up to the greats like UT3, Fallout 3 and soon to be L4D

I am disappointed though about the release date, whatever happened to that massive push on PC gaming, its gone down the pot.

In case i dont have money in my account, e.g. Fallout 3 just out, COD 5 coming out, L4D coming out, its an expensive month lol.

But is it true, i thought it was all going to be released on all platforms at the same time.
