woo! got into grad school last week! BUT, I have this huge problem now. I can't do any work. Two tests in two days. Studied? of course not. I went to Toys "backwards"R Us and cashed in on that sale, bought geometry wars and ghost squad. Been playing geometry wars so much that I wake up with a pain in my right wrist. I think I might be able to live if the only thing I had was my wii. I always get irritated at the topics that are like "the wii has no good games" etc. granted, my collection is bigger than i thought it'd be, but hell. no matter what my mood, i always have something that i want to play on my wii, whether it's brawl, endless ocean, or some vc game. i'm no fangirl, but i do love my wii :) ...now if only i had the time/money for a 360. that'd be perfect!

ok, so. Republicans, tell me how Romney won a state after he suspended his campaign?

Then to the Dems. I don't know where I'd be if my girlfriend and I disagreed on who to support in the primaries. I really just don't understand Hillary and why everybody thinks we're ready for a female president. Take for example when she cried. Everybody was like OMG she's human! Do we really want a president where she has to show weakness before we'll accept her as not being an ice-queen? Seriously, I mean, if Obama cried, we'd all be outraged and yelling at him for how big of a wussy he is. Until we can hold our candidates to the same standards, we're not ready for a woman to lead the country. Just a little tidbit of how much I live by politics right now.

P.S. Hillary, I hope you go the way of Guiliani when he decided to skip some states and focus all of his campaigning energy on Fl. Didn't turn out too well for him, now did it.

Thanks to Jaysonguy's blog post of about a month ago that I just read, I decided that I should speak up a little more. Hopefully for the better, I can help myself get over the stigma of being a female in the male world of gaming. No apologies for when I say something stupid, because I guarantee you that there's somebody that said something stupider.

I don't know many female gamers, but the ones I do know can game just as well as any of my guy friends. I know more about life/games/sex/violence/you name it than any 15 year old punk who decides he wants to call me a n00b, *insert expletive*, or what not. So, I'll try to put my two cents in and not be shy about being able to beat my friends in Melee

so on a completely unrelated note from everything. i hate lazy people. i go to UVA, and we have a university "sponsored" bus system. so, bus stops all around campus, down the more populated off-campus housing areas etc. somebody please tell me why people need to ride the bus for one stop? i mean seriously, some of us are trying to go home, a 30 minute walk from this stop. so, do you even consider the plight of those of us waiting in the rain for a ride home? no! of course not! you think, oh it's raining, so i'll wait here for the bus (mind you, you would've gotten to class at the next stop before you caught this bus). just walk. it's good for your health.
