@ahmetxca: It's actually very very fun! I played the alpha for about 4 or 5 hours last night with a friend passing the pad between us having 1v1, 2v2's and then the big battles in dominion.
If it has a campaign or is priced reasonably (I'm not paying £50 for an online only game, I'm still waiting for overwatch to drop to £25 on the store and i'll grab it) i'll get it day 1.
Can't wait to play some more after work tonight, if I had another invite I'd send you a code but I had 3 and used them all yesterday!
@bubblesplat: I just think PC gamers (like yourself, apologies it's my opinion) have gone way overboard with specs and think "well if spend £5000 it will be the greatest thing ever and run everything at 120fps at 4k" and it's clearly not the case. Devs don't need to get 12gb ram usage never mind 2x 12gb's ram usage its just not needed, devs on consoles (take the PS3 and the last of us for example) optimise the shit out of their games, spend time and energy tweaking and getting every last little ounce of power out of the hardware at hand, the longer they spend drawing power out of a PS3 spec machine the better results they were hitting (Just look at UC1 vs TLOU - the difference is absolutely staggering) and I'm mainly talking first party studios on consoles.
The more power you have doesn't mean shit if a dev hasn't optimised the game, if devs hadn't pushed way too far on PC to begin with and worked their way up slowly PC gaming would be amazing right now. But there is a reality, they haven't taken their time and worked out how to draw all the power out of the 800/900 series gpu's before moving on, drawing all the power out of 6gb ram before moving onto 8/10/12 etc. It's all rushed and now devs are stuck in a place where if they are developing on PC people expect a massively high standard that they just can't hit. The idea of upgradeable machines is great but when tech is moving faster than devs are spending on optimisation you get shitty ports for like 1/3 games.
Of course there are always exceptions I agree with that and again this is an outsiders point of view, my GPU busted on my PC and I just don't see any reason to fix it lol. I personally think that's what has happened with PC gaming.
@johnnyboy787: Spot on man! This is literally it. He probably has IW pre-ordered too in fairness.
I understand some people aren't digging the direction COD has gone which is fine, state that as your opinion that's cool but there is always someone trying to tell you what you should and should not be buying and calling you a sheep (but if I listened and stopped buying cod would that not make me a sheep also? its a pointless term that makes no sense and got old years ago)
Sorry that was in English;
Baaa ba baaababaaa, Ba ba, Ba ba baaaabaaabaaa . . . .
