They were not better during the regular season. Brees had 20+ INT's this year. Ryan's stats were slightly worse than Rodgers and he had a great running game to fall back on. Vick was better his first 6 games maybe, but as soon as NFL defenses refigured him out there is no way he is better than Rodgers. Vick can't read defenses at all, and I guarantee you won't see another Washington type game from him. Rodgers is by far the best QB in the NFC and it was as evident in week 13 as it is now. The Pro Bowl continually shows what a joke it is when the best QB in the NFC doesn't make it.channtheman1True. I guess what I meant was that their teams (Falcons, Eagles, and Saints) all did better in the regular season, while the Packers squeaked into the playoffs in the last week.

[QUOTE="mjwickstrom1"]Maybe it's because the Hawks beat them at the Bear's home stadium earlier this year?Could be, although I think the Bears are much better as a team this time around compared to when they first played Seattle. I think Cutler is gonna get pressured all day, and make some mistakes as a result. My brain says Chicago wins, but I have a strange feeling that Seattle will actually pull this one out. I can't explain why, it's just a weird feeling I have.

As much as I hate the Pats, I don't see them losing. Hopefully they put the Jets in their place for all the trash talking they've been doing this week.

There's so many great QB's in the NFC, a couple great ones are sure to be left out of the Pro Bowl every year. Aaron Rodgers has been on a hotstreak as of late, but Brees, Vick, and Ryan were all better during the regular season on more dominant teams. If the PB vote was now, Rodgers would be in for sure.
The SEC East was definitely down this past season. I can't say I was sad seeing Florida and Georgia both struggle! I'm happy to see FSU returning to prominence. Jimbo Fisher is a great coach. All I know is FSU finally beat the Gators and then they beat South Carolina in their bowl game. I could care less about anything else :P

Auburn is by far better than TCU. They are battle-tested, playing several good teams every year. I do think TCU is very good, but they would still not beat Auburn.
It's easy for a team like TCU or Boise to get motivated and prepared for a big bowl game they have a month to prepare for, after playing 12 or 13 games in which their starters didn't even play four quarters. In that case those teams are more rested and injury free.
And for the people criticizing Auburn playing teams like Arky St, Louisianna Monroe, Chatanooga, etc. take a look at TCU's schedule and show me how many easy games they had this year. It's obvious they had many more easy games than Auburn. Auburn also played 6 teams who finished the season ranked (or close to ranked): Miss St, LSU, Arky, Bama, South Carolina (twice), and Oregon; plus other teams who appeared in bowl games: Clemson, Kentucky, and Georgia.
As you can see, Auburn's resume is clearly better than TCU's, and I without a doubt think they'd embarass the Horned Frogs. And yes, I am an Auburn fan. WAR EAGLE!!!
The NFL just needs to go ahead and adopt College Football's rules for OT. It's the only fair way to decide the winner of a game after regulation, plus it's exciting and great for the fans.
Pittsburgh wins. They're at home, plus Big Ben is playing, and he's undefeated against Flacco head to head. Baltimore beat the Steelers earlier this year in the Burgh, but that was the last game of Roethlisberger's suspension, and they only won by 3. It should be a close, low scoring defensive battle as usual.
Pittsburgh 17, Baltimore 13
