Personally i don't think it's that big-a-deal:hardware compatible or software emulated...Ps2 has hardware Ps1 BC;so? It's a cool feature but does anybody use it? SONY tries to fix things,not ruin them.I think in the long run it will help with the PS3 pricing;less metal to buy,less $$ to spend. Furthermore EVERYBODY owns a PS2!
