Killzone 2 is pretty realistic, as the aiming (before the update) is very heavy and difficult to control

That's true. When everybody in "da forumz" started to cry about "not been able to turn fast enough (cod4 style) or shoot fast enough (cod4 style), i said "wha? You're holding a very large and heavy piece of metal, remember?" And then the patch happened and KZ2 was nearly turned to yet another arcade-type-fps. I wish they would bring an option for the old "heavy" control-style, it was most realistic. Cod4 was a great game, but it was like the guns where heavy as a feather; even BLACK on Ps2 had controls that felt more realistic than that.

Anyway, IMO the most realistic FPS shooting is in a. Armed assault (though the game is close to unplayable) and b. Op. Flashpoint (though the game is Ultra Hard when played right).

PS. One of the most realistic gunfights i have experienced in a vgame was strangely not in a FPS though, but in Getaway (1) for PS2, mainly the ones in closed quarters.

Then we should all stick with our 1024x768 17" monitors because it does not matter in such small scale, right? Better the resolution - better the image. BUT if you take a 1080p tv set and feed it a 720p image (DVD), you won't notice any difference between an HDready tv and a 1080p tv. If you want to watch 720p images (most ps3 and all 360 games for example) a 1366x768 res tv is fine (it will probably look better than in a FullHd anyways). On the other hand a blue-ray movie it's just a shame in that res..

If you get a picture in the monitor's hdmi output then it works fine. It does not automatically turns on along with the console because ..err.. hdmi does not do that, not even on big lcd/tvs

So if you get a pic, you're good to go.
