The fact is Cyrsis poor sales was because it was a mediocre game, that needed excessively powerful PC to run which most people didnt have. Bioshock and COD4 were more fun and ran decently on mid-level hardware.

Most people aren't interested in playing bad games, whether they are pirated or bought legally.

The real answer is that they want to go to the console market because its more economical, and thats perfectly understandable but spare us the BS, we are not that dumb.

I believe its one of the requirements for the official MS Games for Windows certification. The game must be able to closed to desktop and restore without crashing.

And as said before, it depends on the game. Most games work, some react badly upon restore and some break altogether.

Make sure you have a well balanced force -dont just pump out the Shermans. For example, if you have 4 tanks make 2 of those Shermans add a Sherman Crocodile (for anti infantry) and a Wolverine (to deal with heavy armour). Also learn the strengths and weaknesses, the wolverine packs a punch but cannot take one as well as the Shermans can. So make sure the Wolverine engages from the flanks or rear and never use it against infantry.

I actually prefer the Warhammer 40K universe, but if that isnt an option I say the original warhammer. I didnt like the way Blizzard protrayed as 'misunderstood'. That doesnt do it, to me orcs are cruel, strong, primative, warlike and profoundly stupid.

Bioshock was a awesome game it was well worth the $50 I paid for it. Good graphics, good story, creepy atmosphere.

True it doesn't have much replaybility but neither do a bunch of hit games I could mention. I'd rather play a great game and be entertained for a month with no replaybility than a so-so game that I can replay forever.

$30 is a good deal, go for it.

1. DDO, my current favorite. I like the ruleset and its the only hardcore RPG MMORPG out there.

2. LOTRO -An improved WOW, I like it better. Pity you cannot play the horde as a Career.

3. WOW -Actually I didnt much care for, but it was innovative.
