Can't wait to download it tonight. I'm very excited about this year.

Any thoughts about the Demo so far?

Yeah, I had the same problem, it's really annoying. Did you notice lots of little glitches in the game like ostriches disappearing?

I'm sure if it's noticeable or not but why not get the top of the line 1080p? Give yourself the choice of playing things at the highest resolution out there.

Forza will appeal more to the hardcore car enthusiast but Dirt is just going to be 1000 times more fun.notoriousmatty

I got the Eb Games warranty and it was great. It's 50 Bucks for a year and when my 360 stopped working 3 months after i bought it, I just walked in with the bad one and walked out with a brand new one. The only problem was that I had to re-buy a new warranty for the new 360.

[QUOTE="mo24"][QUOTE="mobsterman3"]i have had mine for a little over a year and it working just fine i think the reason is is because i take care of mine maybe you should do the same (trust me it last longer)lukeymonw

I took really good care of mine. I went out and bought a cabinet so it can be well ventilated and i bought a fan that i had pointed at the back of the area so that it can stay cool and the air would flow better around it but it still broke within three months. Now isn't that some F%#@ED Up Ass SH!^... So M$ can S*&^ It hard.
Thank You

Well you kept it inside of a cabinet. Thats your first problem. The 360 puts out some immense heat so it will fill an enclosed space very quick. Also aiming a fan at the back of the system is not going to help since the parts that are overheating are inside of the machine. Internal airflow is what you need if you are going to keep it inside of a cabinet. That is why you can buy component fans to cool PC cards. They sit right next to the card. Unfortunatly you are going to have to trust the Microsoft provided you with adequate cooling in an open environment since you can't put fans inside of the machine (which they have). Keep it on a table or open shelf.

Although i respect what your saying here. Let me tell you some facts. My buddy and i both bought a 360 on the same day about three months ago. He put his on top of his subwoofer which was out in a open space and i put mine on top of a small cabinet that i had bought just for this machine. After reading about the heat problems i decide to buy a small fan and point it towards the back wall where the 360 was just incase there wasn't enough air flow. My machine was always in a wide open space, well ventilated and treated better then I've ever treated a peace of equipment or gaming unit, do to the fact that it was so expensive. Long story short my unit started freezing and broke two weeks ago and my buddies broke a couple of days ago. So this problem is more then just a couple of units that are being mistreated by there owners. This is a badly manufactured machine.

M$ has a real problem on there hands and all they did about it was extend the warranty of the 05 machines and continue to put out defective product.

My Friend and I bought our 360's from EB Games on the same day about 3 months ago. Mine started freezing and broke a week ago and his froze and broke last night. This makes it a 100% failure rate in my mind. I hope M$ get sued and we all get free upgrades or something for buying there problem. THIS JUST ISN'T RIGHT
