one of my favorite holy crap moments in pc gaming has to be when I played warhammer 40k dawn of war and was totally blown away by the amount of carnage going on in one battle, had the space marine whirlwind lauching rockets, marine squads firing away with heavy bolters and tossing nades, dreadnought fighting a orky dreadnought, and the battlecries that were shouted out by all as it waged on...
