Its funny that one of gamespots main problems with it is the quality of the music, because personally i think the music sounds great. and apparently i'm not the only one..
"What impressed me the most was the quality of the music. While not as pristine as you'll hear on a Dolby Digital console, the DS boasts some impressive quality, and if you pipe it through a home stereo (or a Thunderbox Amp) you can really punch up the bass and immerse yourself in the concert experience. So enjoy these cool screenshots and start booking your tour dates"

"The Nintendo DS doesn't have the greatest speakers, but they do a surprisingly good job. If you really want to play On Tour the right way you'll want to get a set of headphones. The sound quality is very impressive, especially coming from such a small package. The music is sharp and crisp, while the sound effects for wrong notes and gaining Star Power are a bit different from the sounds heard on the home consoles, they sound close enough that you recognize them instantly."

"it's a stunning feat, and even more so when you hear the audio quality: the compression's slightly noticeable but songs are in stereo and sound great coming out of the DS speaker and headphones"

i'm sorry for the long post, i'm just upset about this review, enough people are already blowing this off thinking its just a cheap throwaway game to make money. it's actually a quite enjoyable experience overall, i would give it a 8.5ish. not perfect, but definately not as bad as gamespot makes it out to be..
I am going on a round trip 50 hour car ride towards the end of the month and i need a new game or two. Right now i've narrowed it down to two choices: Rondo of Swords/Drone Tactics and FIFA 08 or TWEWY. I like strategy rpgs (and i've played pretty much all the other ones on ds) and and i've been itching for a soccer game, but i also have heard so many extraordinary things about TWEWY that i'm afraid to pass it up. Basically, I'm wondering if TWEWY alone is good enough to take over two games which look interesting to me. thanks
